But boy does it hurt now if I bite on it the wrong way! *yikes!* anywhoo...it's almsot Christmas folks...one more day. I still have some freakin shopping to do. *sigh* not like, shopping, shopping, more like stocking stuffers...grrr...and I have to find a damn frame for the boyfriends band poster that he has. I think I'll be able to find that at the mall tonight when i go to work.*woohoo* the last night I work before christmas. can I just say how glad I am that the hectic, frantic buying sprees are over? OMG...it's most likely going to be BUSY, BUSY tonight...so pray for me. OH, and guess what? I get to meet the boyfriends parents for the first time on Christmas...OMG.that should be fun...anywho... I have tons of work to try and get done today...so everyone have a blessed and safe Christmas!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...
yeah, it's been a while since i posted, but alas, since no one really reads this, I figure it's okay. *smile* we're supposed to get snow this weekend. The first snowfall of the season. Only about 2 inches so they say. we'll see. I don't have to work on Sunday *woohoo* i'm excited. then I work Monday and Thursday night at my part time job....then it's Christmas. Damn, I can't believe it's here already. i'm excited but also wanted the Christmas season to last a little longer. I love Christmas time. I wanted to watch my nephews open their presents on Christmas, but alas that won't be happening. And to get into the reason why would just piss me off, so to that end let's just say I'm not happy about the situation. ANYWHO...found out that my cousin is having a baby girl. *Cheesy grin* I'm SO freakin excited, first, cuz she'll be my god daughter and secondly cuz it'll be the first girl in our family in about 14 years. So you know her ass will be spoiled. This is also the cousin that is spoiled, and an only child. Therefore my aunt (the trekkie I told you about?) will undoubtedly spoil her only grandchild. *smile* I said that she *my niece* will come out with a tiara on her head. *LOL* but it'll be fun to actually buy dresses and stuff for her. am I jealous? I don't think so. I see babies all the time and wonder one, could i actually bring another human being into this world? two, I think I'm entirely too selfish and three, I have yet to meet someone who I think is the "one". I don't want a weekend daddy and I certainly don't want that drama that is involved when the baby daddy get a girlfriend and then wants to severe the ties that bind between me and da baby daddy. couldn't handle that shite. too much drama, and I can cause enough of that by myself without adding another female into the picture. so...til that time, I get my fix from other people's babies. which is great cuz I get the perks of holding them, changing them, seeing them laugh, coo. etc. And then when their little asses get cranky and start crying...it's handoff time back to mommy dearest. oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about. anywhoo...gotta run....stop over at Seven Inches of Sense and wish Jimmy a safe homecoming... New York, New York
Went to New York on Wednesday (bus trip) with my mom. We had an excellent time. We rode the subway *woohoo*. We went to Chinatown, Soho, down to the World trade Center. (it doesn't look like they've started building the memorial yet). Had my picture taken with about 20 cops *smile* I have to say if all cops in New York look like that, I just might have to move there!! *lol* Then we went back to Times Square to get our grub on. Then we went to the Toys R Us in TImes Square. can I just say, damn? The have a freakin ferris wheel in the middle of the store. The store is 3 levels. THREE LEVELS! wild...I didn't have to trample any little kids. Which is good cuz I usually have to when I go to a toy store cuz they are just running rampant. After toys r us we went to Bryant Park. They had booths set up all around the park. My mom wanted to go to Central Park, but by the time we got done at Bryant Park, it was dark. No Central Park at night...thanks though, next time. so we went to Grand Central Station. I couldln't wait to get out of there! No one walked in that place...it was running. Found a make up store but they didn't have the makeup I wanted, but she told me where to find it. 7 blocks up and one block over. So my mom and I trekked up to there. I got myself some makeup (oops! my MOM got me soem make up for Christmas). :) Then we walked one block up and over to the bus. I really had a good time with my mom. weird. *just kidding* we're going to try to go back up in the spring/summer so that we can go to Coney Island. My girlfriend says it's not all that, but I still want to see it. Just to say that I've been there. *smile* work this weekend *yuck!* can I just say that I want this year over already??? It has not been too good to me. SO hopefully next year will be better. I'll be 29... and you know what...I'm looking forward to turning 30. although I really wish I had more of a direction to my life. Maybe 2005 will be that turning point for me....oh well...enough of that....talk to yall Monday! have a good weekend!

Sing with me!
You are 'Silent Night'! You really enjoy
Christmas, and you like your Christmases
conventional. For you, Christmas is about
family and traditions, and you rather enjoy the
rituals of going to church at midnight and
turning off the lights before flaming the plum
pudding. Although you find Christmas shopping
frustrating, you like the excitement of
wrapping and hiding presents, and opening a
single door on the Advent Calendar each day.
You like the traditional carols, and probably
teach the children to sing along to them. More
than anyone else, you will probably actually
have a merry Christmas.
What Christmas Carol are you?

It's December...
I'm sure that it didn't escape your notice. I can't believe it. December already. I remember when it was February. *geesh* oh well, time flies I guess. the stores are getting busier and staying open later. I really do like my part time job, I just can't stand some customers. You know, the nasty ones who are ignorant no matter how much you try to help them. Or people who want to return 50 items, but wait, they are all on different receipts! (okay, so it wasn't quite fifty, but still) I was the only one at the register and I had a line and this lady wanted me to return all these things. come on!!!! damn. I could've strangled her. We were pretty steady up until about 8:45. Then it was sporadic. we had one lady around 9:50 who was just nasty. She said "i bought that green thing a while ago and I want to know if you have those other green things..." Now, if you know me, I'm sure that I thought I had a straight face, but the look on my face said "WTF are you talking about?" Luckily my supervisor was standing there and answered her with "You can find those in draperies." But NO...this beotch wanted her to walk down to draperies to tell them what she wanted. Lazy ass. For your information people, if you are like any of the aformentioned people, yes, you are the ones we talk about once you leave the register.
