what can I say? I love my new job!! there are only three of us here on a regular basis. and we're all about the same age and we all get along great. I think I might have finally found my "home." Of course, things on the homefront are now falling apart. I have a gut feeling that my boyfriend will not be coming home to me. *sigh* I haven't talked to him since tuesday night. I know I'll be fine by myself. I have before and I'll do it again. I just hate being by myself. Then I'm an asshole magnet. And I don't see it til I'm already involved. WTF? I just want a man who will work and contribute as much as I do. Is that really so freakin' hard? I guess so, cuz I still haven't found one. we'll see what happens. yeah, I'm a sucker. I wasn't going to come into work tomorrow, but they are going to be short. I really shouldn't care, but..... oh and my dumbass went and sprained (big time) my ankle. I'm in an air cast. fun! three weeks. it's a lovely color. all black and blue and yellow and green. yum....well, this is just a short and sweet little note.....boyfriend's still not back. probably for another 5 1/2 weeks....yeah. whatever... anywhoo....talk to you kiddies later.!
That's how much longer I have til I start my new job. I've told the job now, and they really don't care. whatever... I can't wait to get the hell outta here. I'm just waiting for someone to rub me the wrong way and I'm SO outta here. The old man left for Arizona. we had a big argument. *sigh* I don't even really care how long he is out there. We'll see what happens when he comes back. I went to my nephew's football practice last night. it was fun. I'm going again tonight. well, on Monday I will give them my resignation. And to tell you the truth I can't wait. Also, my boyfriend is leaving for Arizona on Monday for his job. *sigh* I can deal, but he doesn't even know how long he'll be out there. A week, maybe two who knows. He said maybe even 6 months. I laughed then cuz i told him he better tell them he can't do 6 months. No freakin way am I no seeing my boyfriend for 6 months. fuck that. I didn't get involved with a military man *although there is nothing wrong with that* or someone who's in jail for that reason. I know that I wouldn't do well with a long distance relationship. It's just me. I'm not going to know what to do with myself. Any pointers from my girl Joan?? I know it may be only a week, but we've been together a year now. whew... time flies. some people are just downright vicious. just because you didn't like someone's post, why do you feel the need to email that person and rip them a new one? do you really think that person cares? My friend Joan over at Seven Inches of Sense wrote a post, which I found very well written, and had people email her saying some fucked up things. Anyone who reads her blog on a daily basis (me!me!) knows her writing style. For those fuck ups who just stumbled across her blog and that was the one and only post you read, piss off. You don't know shit. Don't speak unless you know what the fuck you are talking about, shut up. otherwise you come off just like you did, dumbasses. I'm glad that I don't have that many readers to have to deal with that shite. I can write whatever I want here and not worry about angry emails and other bullshit. I deal enough with stupid people here in the real world. I dont' want to have to deal with them here too!
Oh, and on a happy freakin note! I got that new job. same pay for right now. raise in January. But it's only about 5 minutes from my house. well, today started off pretty shitty. Overslept. again. I woke up at 8 am. I have to be to work by 8. So needless to say I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. And of course it's Monday. So the phones were ringing off the hook in this damn place. I did have one humorous call today. Lady called and wanted to schedule two appointments. hmm... okay, I asked her why two. Her response "One for the depo shot and the other for a regular check up." I know I've only worked here about two months, but I'm pretty sure that we don't give depo shots. So I said "um...I didn't know that Podiatrists give depo shots." Silence. "OMG, I called the wrong number!" We both had a good laugh. Want to know what's even funnier? she actually is a patient here. LOL. I guess it's feet humor. HAHAHA...okay so that was funnier when I thought about it. I have a decent job interview tomorrow evening. It's close to my house, about 10 minutes and I kinda know the doctor. He already called to get a reference for me. Which was a "glowing recommendation" from one of the doctors I worked with at the hospital. *sigh* now if they can just offer me enough money I'd be SO freakin stoked. so, we'll find out tomorrow eveing. cross your fingers for me.
